Kelly Ayotte Tells Newsmax: Americans Reject the Idea of Biden as President Once More

Americans can’t have President Joe Biden serve another term because “we continue to face inflation, the open borders” and a misguided approach to the economy, said Kelly Ayotte, who is running for governor of New Hampshire, on Newsmax.

“The economy is not doing what it should be doing if we had different policies that focus on economic freedom,” Ayotte said Thursday during an appearance on “Newsline.”

Biden’s policies have been “wrong for America,” she added, and the GOP’s focus should be ensuring he shouldn’t be reelected.

“I think the most important thing is that we ensure that we don’t have Joe Biden in the presidency, that we focus on economic prosperity and freedom and securing our borders, and I know those are the questions that New Hampshire voters are asking about every single day,” she said.

“We have a very important role vetting the presidential candidates, but I know people in New Hampshire want a change.”

The arrest of a previously removed Mexican national by U.S. officials earlier this week shows how bad the border crisis is, she added.

The Department of Justice on Tuesday charged Reynaldo Velasco-Velasco, 36, with trafficking illegal immigrants into the U.S. He made an initial appearance in federal court in Concord, N.H.

“This all goes back to failing to secure our border and we are seeing this in New Hampshire as well,” she said.
