New Harvard Poll Reveals 76% of Voters Support Public Release of Biden Report
Recent findings from a Harvard CAPS-Harris poll show that the majority of voters are in favor of the release of Special Counsel Robert Hur’s report on President Joe Biden, as reported by The Hill.
Out of the respondents, only 24% believe that the contents of the report should remain private, while 76% support the release of Hur’s report on Biden so that voters can form their own opinions on the matter.
Breaking it down by party, the poll indicates that 91% of Republicans, 73% of independents, and 64% of Democrats are in favor of making the report public.
The report gained attention for its controversial assessment of Biden’s cognitive abilities, even though no charges were pressed in the documents case. The report highlighted, “We have also considered that, at trial, Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview of him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.”
The poll also revealed that 69% of respondents believe Hur’s report has raised valid concerns about Biden’s age that warrant public discussion, while 31% feel it is not relevant.
The Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll, which surveyed 2,022 respondents last week, did not disclose a margin of error.
