Rep. Jordan Demands Clarification on White House Meetings with Smith Aide
U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan is seeking answers regarding alleged meetings between a top aide to special counsel Jack Smith and White House officials before the indictment of former President Donald Trump. Jordan sent letters to Attorney General Merrick Garland and White House Chief of Staff Jeff Zients requesting documents and communications related to these meetings. Jordan also mentioned that the aide, Jay Bratt, has been accused of threatening an attorney involved in the case. Jordan has given a deadline of September 12th for the requested documents to be turned over.
