Ric Grenell tells Newsmax that the situation at “Joe Biden’s Border” will continue to deteriorate.

Ric Grenell, a former acting director of national security and ambassador to Germany under former President Donald Trump, warned on Friday that the situation at the border in El Paso, Texas, is only going to deteriorate under President Joe Biden’s administration. Grenell made his remarks during an interview on Newsmax.

Grenell commented on a video that captured migrants rushing a border wall in El Paso, emphasizing that the footage will likely become a political campaign issue. He stated that the current border crisis is a direct result of policies implemented by President Biden, which are enticing individuals to enter the country illegally in search of immediate benefits with minimal consequences.

The video depicted a predominantly male crowd breaching the border wall, with Grenell pointing out the lack of women and children among the migrants. He also expressed concerns about potential security threats posed by unvetted individuals crossing the border illegally.

Grenell criticized the Biden administration for knowingly maintaining an open border and allowing unregulated migration to continue. He suggested that Democrats view the influx of migrants as a political strategy to secure votes in future elections, despite the risks associated with unchecked immigration.

The former ambassador also highlighted the divide between Republicans and Democrats on immigration policies, emphasizing that the GOP supports legal immigration while condemning unlawful border crossings. Grenell argued that legal immigrants, especially first- and second-generation Americans, tend to align with conservative values and support stricter border enforcement.

In addition to the border crisis, Grenell referenced the ongoing impeachment investigation facing President Biden, noting the significance of recent testimony from Hunter Biden’s former associate, Tony Bobulinski. Grenell described Bobulinski as a credible witness whose account could have significant implications for the impeachment proceedings.
