RNC and the Trump Campaign Present ‘Gun Owners for Trump’

Prior to his speech at the NRA Leadership Forum in Dallas on Saturday evening, the Republican National Committee and the Trump campaign introduced the Gun Owners for Trump coalition.

Support for the Second Amendment and leveraging it as a political tool against President Joe Biden is not a new strategy for the RNC and Republicans. Likewise, the ongoing Democratic push for gun control is also not a new development.

The news release stated, “‘Gun Owners for Trump’ coalition will resist Biden and the gun-control efforts of the Democrats intending to weaken the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.”

“‘Gun Owners for Trump’ is a diverse coalition representing a wide range of gun owners in America. Unfortunately, the violent Migrant Crime Wave unleashed by Joe Biden poses a threat to every American. As the radical Democrats continue to undermine law enforcement and allow our communities to be overrun by violent criminals, including criminal illegal immigrants, now more than ever, Americans must safeguard their right to self-defense.”

The coalition includes 50 Olympic athletes, leaders in the firearm industry, and public advocates.

“President Trump supports the belief that every American has a natural right to protect themselves and their loved ones and has demonstrated a commitment to defending law-abiding gun owners,” the statement emphasized. “Gun owners nationwide are working to secure a second term for President Trump, maintain a Senate majority, and protect the Republican majority in the House.”

“President Trump and his Republican colleagues in the House and Senate will put an end to the continuous attacks on Americans’ Constitutional rights by the left.”

Trump has promised to halt the left’s assault on the Second Amendment.

“Each of Biden’s attacks on gun owners and manufacturers will be quashed in my first week back in office,” declared Trump.

Former Secretary of the Interior David Bernheardt emphasized the growing significance of Americans’ right to bear arms in light of the Biden crime wave.

“Joe Biden’s ineffective crime policies endanger every American, underscoring the crucial nature of protecting our Second Amendment right,” Bernhardt stated. “President Trump will always stand by gun owners, unlike the feeble Joe Biden.”
