Sen. Cruz Defies Protests and Pledges Unwavering Support for Israel

Senator Ted Cruz has made a commitment to unwaveringly support Israel despite continuous protests outside his Houston-area home by Hamas supporters. In a recent tweet, Ted Cruz stated, “No matter how much these antisemites cheer Hamas, I will stand with Israel.”

Since February, these anti-Israel protesters have been gathering outside Cruz’s home, with some two dozen protests taking place. The demonstrations are in response to the senator’s support of Israel following the massacre of some 1,200 Israelis by Hamas that initiated the current conflict in Gaza, according to Fox News Digital.

A spokesperson for Cruz reiterated the senator’s commitment to fighting antisemitism and standing for Texas values, stating, “He’s proud to stand with Israel as the country fights to utterly eradicate Hamas for as long as it takes.”

Police have informed Cruz that the protesters outside his home are connected to Students for Justice in Palestine. The protesters, numbering around a dozen, have been gathering with masks, bells, chants, and signs with slogans like “Cease Fire Now,” “No rest for the wicked, Ted,” and “Israel bombs playgrounds.”
