Senator Mullin tells Newsmax: Biden’s Speech Unlikely to Be Optimistic

The likelihood of President Joe Biden being able to deliver an optimistic speech for the American people is very slim, according to Sen. Markwayne Mullin, R-Okla.

“What is he going to address? What can he boast about: … the hope for the future?” Mullin questioned during an appearance on Newsmax’s “Carl Higbie FRONTLINE.”

“He has had three years to make a difference, and all he has done is damage our economy. The average family was spending $100 more per month on bills; inflation is around 17%; energy costs have risen by over 30%; and the border situation is a complete disaster. Where does he take this?”

Mullin suggested that “this could be his final State of the Union address. He will either be defeated by Donald Trump, or the Democratic Party will not let him continue beyond the national convention in August, replacing him with someone else.”
