Senator Ron Johnson accuses 51 intelligence officials of being corrupt in Newsmax interview
Senator Ron Johnson, R-Wis., stated on Monday that the 51 “corrupt” intelligence officials who discredited Hunter Biden’s laptop as Russian disinformation interfered with the election more than Russia itself. This came after the arrest of former FBI informant Alexander Smirnov on charges of fabricating a bribery scheme against President Joe Biden and Hunter Biden. Johnson made these comments during an interview on Newsmax.
Johnson reacted to the vindication felt by some of the officials who signed the October 2020 letter, alleging that they were corrupt and biased towards the Biden administration.
The Biden Department of Justice alleges that Smirnov created a false story about Burisma paying bribes to the Bidens to fire a prosecutor investigating the company.
Johnson emphasized the overwhelming evidence against the Bidens and the authenticity of the Hunter Biden laptop that the FBI knew about but did not disclose. He accused the officials of interfering in the election to a greater extent than Russia or China.
