Trump Claims Thursday Arrest Was ‘Strictly Coordinated’ With ‘Corrupt’ Joe
Former President Donald Trump is turning himself in on Thursday in Atlanta, Georgia, to be arrested by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis. In a post on his new social media platform, Truth Social, Trump criticized Willis for overseeing a “Murder and Violent Crime DISASTERS” and referred to the arrest as a “witch hunt” and “election interference.” Trump and 18 other defendants were charged with 41 criminal counts related to their efforts to challenge the 2020 presidential election. The surrender will occur after the first Republican primary presidential debate that Trump does not plan to attend.
