Trump: Jewish Americans Supporting Biden ‘Should Feel Ashamed’
President Joe Biden has been criticized by presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump for allegedly abandoning Israel, stating that Jewish Americans who support Biden should feel ashamed.
Trump condemned Biden for withholding weapons from Israel during its effort to return hostages, calling it a disgraceful act that goes against the interests of Israel. He also accused Biden of making political decisions rather than what is right for the country.
Trump took to social media to express his disapproval of Biden’s threat to withhold weapons from Israel, accusing him of siding with terrorists. Biden clarified that while defensive arms will continue to be supplied, certain weapons and artillery shells will not be provided for use in Rafah, where many have sought shelter during the conflict in Gaza.
In addition, Trump criticized anti-Israel protests on college campuses, attributing the issue to the left rather than the right. He emphasized the internal threats posed by such protests, labeling them as a bigger danger to the country compared to external threats from China or Russia.
During pre-trial comments, Trump mentioned a major motion filed in relation to a gag order imposed by Judge Juan Merchan, prohibiting him from discussing the case with the media. He referred to the case as a “Frankenstein case” due to the combination of misdemeanor and alleged federal felony charges.
