Tulsi Gabbard Declines RFK Jr.’s Offer for VP Position
Former Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, who was once a Democrat, revealed to ABC News that she politely declined the offer to be Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s running mate.
Gabbard stated, “I have met with Kennedy multiple times, and we have developed a good friendship. He asked me to be his running mate. After thoughtful consideration, I respectfully declined.”
Axios reported that both Kennedy and former President Donald Trump have considered Gabbard as a potential running mate.
Last month, Gabbard expressed openness to being Trump’s vice-presidential candidate, emphasizing her dedication to serving the country.
Kennedy’s campaign did not provide any comments on the situation.
On March 26, Kennedy announced Nicole Shanahan, a Silicon Valley attorney and entrepreneur, as his running mate.
