Biden Holds Netanyahu Responsible for Deaths of Hostages, Correspondence
The Issue: Hamas executing six hostages — including an American — kidnapped on Oct. 7.
The response from President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris to the murders of six hostages, including an American citizen, is “outrage” (“Feckless Dem duo throws Israel to wolves,” Michael Goodwin, Sept. 4).
Once again, there will be no retribution or consequences for the cretins who did this.
Since Oct. 7, Iran and its proxies have been wreaking havoc in the region, resulting in a number of deaths — including American ones — while the feckless Biden administration does nothing.
If Biden continues to not act, the violence will only continue.

It is disturbing that an American hostage was found among the dead.
While the death of any of the hostages is tragic, the fact that an American was killed on the Biden-Harris watch is especially troubling.
The deaths can be attributed to the weakness of the Biden administration, which has tried to play both sides and failed as usual.
Any terrorist organization or country should know that if they take American hostages they will face the wrath of the United States.
That has not been the case with Hamas.
We should not be siding with the captors, but unleashing the full force of the United States against those who take hostages.

Anyone still operating under the delusion that the Biden administration has Israel’s back is living in a fantasy world.
Biden just said he didn’t think that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was doing enough to reach a ceasefire agreement.
Netanyahu has already accepted several peace plans that Biden has put forward, all of them turned down by Hamas.
The group breaks every law of decency, by kidnapping civilians, torturing and then executing them at will — and yet Biden says nothing.

The depths of Hamas’ depravity are boundless (“Hamas mocks hostage kin,” Sept. 2).
The sickening video of the soon-to-be-murdered captives was intended to further divide Israeli society and force a ceasefire on Hamas’ terms.
Likely the video will only reenergize the IDF as it fights to finally finish off this terrorist organization.
If only it could have rescued those unfortunate souls.

Revulsion is the only reaction upon hearing the devastating news of six innocent hostages savagely murdered by Hamas.
The blood of these victims — kidnapped on Oct. 7, and held in Gaza for most of a year — must serve as the last shred of evidence ever needed to prove that these terrorist enemies must never be allowed to escape justice.
In 1940, Winston Churchill proclaimed: “Victory at all costs, victory in spite of all terror, victory however long and hard the road may be; for without victory, there is no survival.”
Just as America stood by the United Kingdom in its war against the Nazis, so too Israel deserves our unwavering support.

During the Battle of the Bulge, American prisoners of war were murdered by German troops.
As far as I am aware, no one blamed then-President Franklin Delano Roosevelt for this.
Yet when Hamas murders hostages, it seems that people blame Israel?

With allies like Biden and Harris, Israel has to fight alone to protect its citizens from terrorists.
The United States is shameful for caving to Hamas and Iran’s demands.
We should impose huge sanctions on Iran and stop giving it money to attack our allies.

What thinking person can be surprised that the barbaric terrorist group called Hamas has killed hostages?
We must wake up to the reality of this situation: These are not people yearning to have their own homeland, but vicious zealots who wish for the elimination of Israel.
