Biden’s Immigration Flop and Afghanistan Turmoil Almost Led to Terrorism Threat on Election Day

The Biden-Harris administration shows disregard for national security.

For example, Nasir Ahmad Tawhedi, a 27-year-old Afghan national who worked for the CIA in Afghanistan and received a special US visa post-Biden’s Afghanistan pullout, is now accused of planning a terror attack on Election Day.

Despite going through heavy screening due to his special visa status, the Biden administration failed to effectively vet Tawhedi’s background.

Notably, around 77,000 Afghans were granted entry under similar circumstances as Tawhedi, further highlighting the administration’s negligence in national security matters.

Department of Homeland Security officials tasked with screening visa holders from Afghanistan were overwhelmed and unprepared as the crisis unfolded, according to federal law enforcement officials and the Office of the Inspector General.

The Department of Homeland Security Secretary, Alejandro Mayorkas, avoided questions regarding the lack of effective screening processes in this case.

The possibility that Tawhedi was already a potential terrorist when obtaining his visa, or that he radicalized after entering the US, raises grave concerns about the security risks posed by other individuals admitted under similar programs.

This situation aligns with the concerning trend of terror suspects crossing the US-Mexico border freely under the Biden administration, with some attempting attacks such as the box-truck incident at a Virginia Marine base.

The case of Tawhedi underscores the failure of Biden and Harris in managing immigration policies that were promised to be secure and safe.
