Scott’s life certainly makes the case that his conservative values are worthy of emulation, and his very existence crumbles the liberal narrative of identity politics and systemic racism. It is difficult to tear down a man who has gotten where he is on merit. Tim Scott is a silver lining to the dismal field of politics and represents a new rule that leftists are finding harder and harder to overlook.
