Mad Vlad’s nuclear outbursts intimidate Biden into compliance
Russian President Vladimir Putin is once again engaging in nuclear threats. His pattern of using nuclear armageddon as a threat has become routine. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, this recent escalation is in response to perceived provocations from Western officials, particularly French President Emmanuel Macron and British Foreign Minister David Cameron. Putin relies on the sanctuary provided by the Biden administration as an advantage over NATO-backed Ukraine.
While Putin’s recent nuclear drill near the Ukrainian border may seem alarming, it is likely a strategic move intended to maintain his leverage over Western leaders. This behavior, including Belarus’s recent nuclear drill, is a familiar tactic aimed at demonstrating power and influence. Despite the escalating tensions, it is unlikely that Putin will instigate a nuclear World War III, even if he faces losses in Ukraine.
Biden and his national security team must not be swayed by Moscow’s theatrics. The recent confusion over American weapons in Ukraine is a clear example of being played by the Kremlin. It is crucial for the Biden administration to see through Putin’s nuclear threats and focus on supporting Ukraine in the ongoing conflict.
It is evident that Putin’s nuclear tantrums are a sign of weakness and desperation. NATO’s deterrence capabilities are also a significant factor in preventing any large-scale nuclear conflict. Biden must not fall for Putin’s bluffs and continue supporting Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression.
