Rutgers Adviser Sparks Controversy by Sharing Pro-Hamas Posts on Instagram
A member of Rutgers University’s board of advisors for the school’s Center for Security, Race and Rights regularly shares graphic pro-Hamas content on his Instagram and X accounts, referring to attacks on Israeli soldiers as “hunting season.”
Rajeh A. Saadeh, a divorce, family, civil rights, and real estate attorney from New Jersey, who sits on the Rutgers advisory panel, has posted several video clips on his personal Instagram page showing Israel Defense Forces soldiers being targeted in Gaza.
Over the weekend, Saadeh posted a video depicting a Hamas militant taking out three IDF soldiers, with the caption, “Say a prayer.”
In a previous post, three Israeli soldiers were killed by a rocket-propelled grenade, captioned as “Three birds; one stone.”
Another video clip showed Hamas fighters attacking IDF soldiers, with Saadeh captioning it as “Scenes from an ongoing epic!”
Additionally, Saadeh shares antisemitic content on his X account, including posts dismissing the recovery of an Israeli woman’s body as a hoax.
Both his Instagram and X bios feature the phrase, “From the River to the Sea Truth is always revolutionary.”
Newsmax contacted Saadeh for comment on his social media activity, but did not receive an immediate response.
Saadeh’s posts were uncovered a day before Rutgers President Jonathan Holloway was scheduled to testify about antisemitism on campus before the House Education and Workforce Committee.
Committee chair Rep. Virginia Foxx, R-N.C., criticized Holloway and other university presidents for making “shocking concessions to unlawful antisemitic encampments on their campuses” and surrendering to antisemitic radicals.
