Vandalism by Rahm Emanuel highlights the connection between anti-Zionism and antisemitism

No matter how much Israel-haters swear they’re not antisemites, they just keep giving themselves away.

The latest proof can be found on the fence outside former Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s Michigan home, where a vandal scrawled the word NAZIS.

That’s a signature rhetorical move from “anti-Zionists” whenever Israel has to defend itself from terror.

Whoever wrote it proved to the world to see that anti-Zionism is antisemitism, plain and simple.

Emanuel’s an American, Chicago-born. His father left Israel for America. Emanuel serves as ambassador to Japan.

Why target him, except for his religion?

Other evidence abounds in America and around the world.

Consider the dead-eyed protestor flashing a swastika at a DSA-promoted “pro-Palestine” rally.

Or the chants of “gas the Jews” — not “the Israelis” — that erupted on the steps of the Sydney Opera House during a “pro-Palestinian” rally two days after Hamas’ Oct. 7 attacks.

Or the attacks on a Jewish school and a kosher restaurant in London, and the ringing out of “Khaybar Khaybar ya yahud” (a chant invoking a 7th-century battle where Muslims slaughtered Jews) at another rally there.

Or the Stars of David drawn on the homes of Jews in Berlin.

Then there’s Michigan Democrat Rep. Rashida Tlaib, censured by the House for her sociopathic behavior after the Hamas attacks.

Turns out this “anti-Zionist” hangs out in a Facebook group filled with open Jew hatred.

The word "NAZI" can be seen on the fence outside of Emanuel's Michigan vacation home.

Don’t forget former Women’s March honcho Linda Sarsour, another “anti-Zionist” who just couldn’t bring herself to denounce proud antisemite Louis Farrakhan.

No matter how many rhetorical constructions these people engage in, their actual hatred could not be clearer.

Their efforts to hide it, transparent at the best of times, attenuate almost to nothing whenever Israel takes action against the forces that threaten its existence.

So let’s call this hate exactly what it is, and show Hamas supporters worldwide we’re onto them.
